The Apowersoft Photo Viewer has basically two parts.
- The Showcase or simply photo viewer,
- Photo editor.
This is the primary thing that you will be interested in. It is probably the most beautiful and simple photo viewer as I mentioned above. One can directly open a picture after setting Apowersoft Photo Viewer as default in windows settings or just open the app, click on the open button, browse you photo and you are done. This app also supports drag and drop; that is find your photo from the file explorer, drag the file to the app space and you are done. The photo opens up without any delay!
This app can be used in windowed mode, maximized mode or the windows store app like full screen mode. There are not much complications in the main menu, but you can change the languages to the one you prefer and update you app.
On opening a picture, when the mouse pointer is moved to the bottom, a menu bar appears. On the left edge there is a camera icon that can take a screenshot. There is a ratio button, a edit button, zoom in and zoom out buttons, previous, slideshow and next buttons, rotate buttons,delete button, favorite button and open favorite button. There is a thumbnail toggle button that on turning on shows the available pictures in your current folder. Slideshow can be paused, interval can be changed and can be exited(obviously).
The Editor
On clicking the edit button the editor pops up. This a simple MS Paint like editor(Really!). You can doodle on the picture, add text, rotate, resize, apply basic effects(I mean really basic!), and the most useful, crop the picture. 😜
